L’IEEPI partenaire de l’EMIE Summit à Munich
Du 5 au 7 mai 2010, aura lieu l’EMIE Summit (‘Entrepreneurship and Management in an Intangible Economy’ Summit) à Munich. Ce sommet réunira les professionnels européens de la Propriété Intellectuelle autour de 3 journées dédiées : symposium, conférences, workshops.

Knowledge has become a key factor in added value. We are witnessing the shift from an
industrial society to a service and hi-tech society. The buzz phrase ‘knowledge economy’
epitomizes an economy in which the dominating source of growth and prosperity is
knowledge, or more generally expressed, intangible resources.
EMIE SUMMIT’s MAIN ISSUE therefore will be to capturing intellectual property value for
the growth and expansion of technology-based enterprises.
The EMIE SUMMIT’s AMBITION is to become the leading platform in Europe for
“Entrepreneurship and Management in an Intangible Economy” that unites those in both
business and academia with the aim of accelerating collaboration in the entrepreneurship
and management of intellectual property by discussing the subject from an interdisciplinary
perspective.
SYMPOSIUM on Wednesday, May 5
The EMIE SUMMIT SYMPOSIUM with a more ACADEMIC APPROACH will shed light on
the current issues in research and discuss future research requirements in terms of
industry’s needs as well.
CONFERENCE on Thursday, May 6
The EMIE SUMMIT CONFERENCE will focus on BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES and will
address the current trends and challenges in IP management and is for entrepreneurs
as well as for intrapreneurs, for upper management and decision-makers in corporate
development, new business, innovation and intellectual property management, for
founders of ambitious technology ventures and venture capital investors.
WORKSHOPS on Friday, May 7
One of the objectives of the EMIE SUMMIT is to convey knowledge in a concrete,
hands-on way. To facilitate know-how transfer from the prominent experts and
speakers at the EMIE SUMMIT to interested participants, there will be half-day and
full-day seminars in the scope of the intensive workshops on the third day of the
EMIE SUMMIT.
